I feel like I say this all of the time, but I cannot believe it is almost the end of the year! The good news is that we are fully into winter, and this is my favorite time of the year. Not only do I enjoy the general vibes, but I also really love all of the fashion! Here are a few things that have become my winter wardrobe staples!
Hands down, boots are my absolute favorite thing to wear. Not only can they make your basic outfit look better, but they also keep your toes warm which is pretty important when it is below thirty outside. My Dr. Martens have been my most worn shoe hands down. I can pair it with leggings for a casual and quick outfit, or put them with some tights and a Reformation dress for a bit of a “dressier” look.
I’m also obsessed with the Phaedra boots from Nine West! I don’t think that the color I have is still in stock, but they have a ton of great options, and they are so comfortable. I wore mine all around NYC for a day and never had any issues. Although I haven’t been able to wear them as much as I want, these knee-high snake print boots are the love of my life!
Camel Color Coats
While I am specifically referring to the coat that I picked up from ASOS last year, I really mean any coat that is in that color. Not only is it my favorite color of the moment, but it is also the perfect shade for this time of year. Although you cannot get the one I have, there are seriously so many different coats that look similar to this one from HM.
My teddy coat from Tularosa is also in the shade that I love! It is super warm and it basically feels like a blanket. There are some really affordable options for teddy coats out there, so you don’t have to spend a ton to get the look. I also picked up this puffer coat which has actually been my favorite everyday jacket to wear!
If you have been around here for a while, then you know I have an obsession with faux-leather anything. It all started when I picked up these pants from Topshop, and the love grew from there. I then decided that this faux leather skirt also from Topshop had to come home with me. It is in a color I don’t typically wear but has been a festive piece that I love! I’ll talk more about these pants I found off of Amazon in my favorites for the month, but I love them!
When it comes to chunky knits, I’m pretty sure they are part of everyone’s winter wardrobe staples, right? I’ve found that you really don’t have to spend a ton of money in order to find a great knit that you can wear all winter. I have a few from Revolve that I love, but a lot of my most worn ones are from HM or Forever 21. You can also go for Topshop to find some that are more premium quality without costing you an arm and a leg.
