When it comes to the holiday season, we all have our favorite Christmas films! If you’re looking to add a few to your holiday watch list, then here are my top five movies that I have to watch every year!
Christmas With The Kranks
This is one of those Christmas films that my family watches every year. As a matter of fact, we even watched it the night before Thanksgiving, that’s how much we love it! Escaping to a Caribbean cruise is something my family has probably considered instead of having actual Christmas, and it has such a cute ending!
Okay, so I never see anyone talk about this movie, and I have no idea why! Not only does it have my girl Reese in it, but it is a situation that we have all been in! Spending time with your family can get weird, and this movie sums it up pretty well! I’m pretty sure I have made everyone in my life watch this movie at least once during the holidays.
Home Alone 2: Lost In New York
Aside from this being a true holiday classic, I also think it is hysterical. While it is relatively unrealistic, I love the songs, the actors, the storyline, and especially New York! It is one of my favorite cities in the world, and anytime you can combine it with Christmas is a winner to me. Shout out to Disney+ for gifting us all with the full line up of them this year!
I love this movie because it is a realistic depiction of Christmas. Some people have better holidays than others, and things can’t always be snowflakes and mulled wine (even though it should always include mulled wine!). I’ll also watch any movie with Emma Thompson in it!
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
My list of favorite Christmas films would not be complete without How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I love the original cartoon, but the live-action version is perfect too. It also reminds me of Grinchmas at Universal which is a super festive time! Plus, it has one of the best holiday songs ever!
