Everything I Use For My Curly Hair

Unless you are one of the lucky ones, you probably deal with crazy curls, serious frizz, and some dryness. One of my biggest goals for this year was to get my curls back in shape. Finding the right products has been a huge help, and here is everything that I use for my curly hair. Why I love it, how I use it, and if it actually makes a difference.

Maui Moisture Heal & Hydrate Shea Butter Hair Mask

I’ve been using the Redken All Soft shampoo and conditioner for a little over six months now, and it leaves my hair feeling soft, clean, and not weighed down. I added the Maui Moisture Heal & Hydrate Shea Butter Hair Mask to the mix because it felt like my hair needed a bit more hydration. I add it to my hair after shampooing and conditioning, and I leave it in for about five minutes. If I do not use this, then I can feel a difference in my hair texture and how dry it feels.

The Hair Edit Tame & Condition Comb

No joke, my grandmother has been telling me to get a wide-tooth comb since I was like six! I finally remembered to pick this one up, and it has really helped out. I use it to detangle my hair after washing, but it also is perfect for helping to separate my curls after a few days.

Not Your Mother’s Naturals Tahitian Gardenia Flower & Mango Butter Curl Defining Combing Cream

This is another game-changing product! The Not Your Mother’s Curl Defining Combing Cream keeps my curly hair bouncy and smooth. Even though it is a cream, it does not make my hair feel weighed down at all, and the smell is great. I will use product after I get out of the shower once I dried my hair with a t-shirt. I rake it through my hair and then I will scrunch my damp hair to give it back some curl.

Kenra Professional Curl Glaze Mousse 13

Once I have distributed the combing cream through my hair, I add the Kenra Professional Mousse to help my curls be more defined and to hold their shape. I use a pretty good size amount and I run it through my hair and then I go back and scrunch my hair. Make sure that you do not use too much of this because it can leave your hair crunchy. I also have found the best way to use this is to apply it to the bottom of your hair first before you apply it to the top of your hair.

The Mane Choice Tropical Moringa Sweet Oil & Honey Endless Moisture Restorative Spray

When it comes to curly hair, washing it too often can actually cause it to become too dry. To give my hair a boost between washed, this Moisture Restorative Spray brings the life back into my curls without making my hair feel oily at all. It also smells incredibly good and helps to detangle too!

Frizz is the worst! I feel like I am always fighting it, and living in the south only makes it worse!
